Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using the Spectivox iPhone app, or by accessing this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use Spectivox.

What Spectivox provides

Spectivox is a personal Sentry Mode notifier. It sends push alerts to your iPhone when Sentry reports activity (Aware or Panic) and keeps a short local Activity timeline on the phone.

Tesla sign-in is required. Spectivox does not stream camera footage to your phone and does not guarantee that footage will still be available in the Tesla app when you review an alert.

Delivering alerts requires online services operated for Spectivox. Your iPhone cannot receive these alerts directly from the car without that infrastructure.

No affiliation with Tesla

Spectivox is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Tesla, Tesla model names, and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners.

Your use of Tesla's app, vehicle, and connected services is subject to Tesla's terms and policies.

Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be old enough to agree to these terms in your jurisdiction and to use Tesla's services if you connect a vehicle.

• Do not use Spectivox while driving if it distracts you from operating your vehicle safely
• Do not use Spectivox to harass others, violate privacy laws, or break the law
• Do not misuse Spectivox, its website, or Tesla's services beyond normal personal use
• Do not misrepresent Spectivox as an official Tesla product

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use Spectivox and for complying with applicable laws and third-party terms.

Spectivox alerts are aids only. You remain responsible for reviewing footage in the Tesla app and for any decisions you make.

• Keep Sentry Mode armed and your car online when you expect alerts
• Keep your iPhone, Tesla account, and notification permissions configured as you intend

We describe accessibility goals and known limitations on the Accessibility page. That page is provided for transparency and does not create a separate warranty.

Disclaimer of warranties

Spectivox is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that push notifications will always arrive, that alerts will arrive within a specific time, that the car will have connectivity at event time, or that footage will remain available in the Tesla app.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spectivox and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, footage, property, or profits arising from your use of the app or this website.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spectivox and its developers from claims arising out of your misuse of the app, violation of these terms, or violation of third-party rights.

Availability and changes

Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice. We may suspend or discontinue the app, alert services, or website at any time.

Build 22 is offered only in 38 selected EMEA App Store storefronts and supports Tesla accounts served by Tesla's Europe, Middle East, and Africa Fleet API region. Tesla accounts routed to North America / Asia-Pacific or China are not supported by this build.

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.

Intellectual property

The Spectivox name, logo, app design, and website content are owned by the project authors unless otherwise noted. You may not copy or redistribute them except as allowed by applicable law.

Subscriptions and pricing

Spectivox may offer free features and optional paid Pro features through Apple In-App Purchase when subscriptions are available in the iPhone app. The first App Store release is push-active: Sentry Aware and Panic notifications work after setup. Schedule and When Sentry alerts are locked in App Store and TestFlight builds until Pro unlocks later. They are not purchasable yet.

Free at launch: Sentry Aware and Panic push, Home Armed/Off status and Last 24h hour density, Activity timeline, quiet hours, push presets, and related basics after setup. Pro (planned, not for sale yet): Sentry schedule automation, schedule result push, automatic actions under When Sentry alerts (flash lights, honk, or fart when Aware fires), and watching several cars at once, sold as a monthly or annual automatically renewing subscription.

No Pro subscription or Pro price is offered in the current release. If subscriptions launch later, the price you pay will be the amount shown in the App Store at the time you subscribe, in your storefront currency.

We may change subscription prices, billing periods, or what is included in Free vs Pro. Material changes will be posted on spectivox.com (Terms and the pricing page) before or when they take effect where practicable. For active subscribers, price changes follow Apple's App Store subscription rules, including any notice or consent Apple requires.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel through your Apple ID account settings before the end of the current billing period. Apple is the merchant of record for In-App Purchases. Billing, renewals, refunds, and payment disputes are handled under Apple's terms and policies. Spectivox does not receive your payment card details.

If Pro lapses or is cancelled, Sentry push is planned to remain available on the free tier; schedules and automatic actions under When Sentry alerts may stop until you subscribe again. We may change the free tier in the future with notice on this site.

App Store

If you obtained Spectivox through Apple's App Store, Apple is not a party to these terms except as Apple's applicable App Store terms require. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Spectivox.

Governing law and disputes

Spectivox is operated from Israel. These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise.

Courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these terms where permitted by law. Consumers in the EEA/UK and other jurisdictions may also have mandatory local jurisdiction rights.
